You do not actually need it. If you are loading your images into a computer that is XP or 2000- just plug it in and the computer does the rest. As for editing software that may have been on the disc - you can download a feeby such as picasa or go to the Serif website and pick up a free [older] program from there. Why else would you need the disk? Infact the best advice for anyne buyinh a digital camera is to leave the disk in the box There things only 'muddy the water'
