Television THE POWER TO THE TELEVISION KICKS OFF AT ALL DIFFERENT TIMES.SOMETIMES BEFORE IT HAS TIME TO OVERHEAT.TO GET THE TELEVISION TO COME BACK ON I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT USUALLY FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES.TELEVISION MAY PLAY FOR UP TO A WEEK OR IT MAY KICK OFF FIVE OR SIX TIMES IN SIX HOURS.

Sounds like you could have bad solder connections. If you have the experience remove all boards and look for cracked or cold solder joints and resolder anything suspicious. If that doesn't solve the problem you have a component which is randomly shorting out and you will need to find a reputable repair shop to take a look at it. Good luck.

Your radiator might be partially plugged with scale. Either replace or do a cleaning. 1/8 inch of scale reduces heat transfer by a lot. Also some fins may be plugged so water flow could be limited. Sometimes it is best to replace the radiator.

It is possible that TV processor could have some garbage it do to a small voltage surge, and if you leave your set, unplug from the wall for 40 min,. that will reset it back to normal. If thgat don'rt work then remove the back and check for a couple of bulged electrolytic caps on the power supply nthat need change, or change out the power supply.

  • Overheating
  • Bad power supply
  • Bad ballast
To properly diagnose your television, i'll have to know more about the symptoms. You can start by moving the television away from any walls. This will give it better ventilation and cooler operation

The most likely problem is a bad solder connection on one of the circuit boards. If you have the skills, remove the boards and look at all connections for cracked solder joints or cold solder joints. Resolder anything suspicious.Good luck.
