Contact Direct tv and they should have the codes to program the remote tothat tv. Or contact Universal remote @ 919-573-7854 919-573-7854

someone esle found this.. and it worked for me

Program AV1 with 20695, program TV with 10765, then switch to AV1, press select/mute, enter 933, and press select

This will allow volume and mute controls while in DTV mode and allow power on and off while in TV mode. This worked for me on the RC32 remote control.

1. Turn on the TV.
2. Press and hold the TV and SEL buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The button will light.
3. With the button lit, point the remote at the TV and enter the TV's 3, 4, or 5 digit code.
4. Verify by pressing the VOLUME + button. This should turn the TV VOLUME up.
5. Press the TV button to store the 3, 4, or 5 digit code. The button will blink twice to confirm the code is stored.

Directtv control code for Vizio

Your Direct TV manual should list all the mfg. codes for the remote. If you do not have the manual you should be able to read it and/or download it on the Direct TV website.

We cant find our original element remote control. I just tried 10178 on the direct tv remote control and it worked YEAH!!!! We just can't do the screen size edit thing with it :(. Might still have to order a replacement element remote. This works for now. Thanks.

Can't find the remote control codes

If you're lucky it will respond to code 10178, if not then you will need a rc64 directv remote and try the proview codes. The proview codes are worthless in any other directv remote other then the rc64 series. ALSO try code 10835.

Here is the setup copde page http://universal.dev.efocus.nl/?pag=54. I didn't see that model remote listed but many times the remote manufacturer will use the same codes.... So look at other remote codes for Hitachi and see which one works.
