My GE Universal Remote stopped working. I tried new batteries and reprogramming but cannot get the indicator light to stay on after I hit "TV"; therefore, I cannot input the code.

Hi! For me to be able to give you the correct code for your universal remote control, I actually need the model number of your remote control because there are GE remote controls that need a 3digit code and there are GE remote controls that need a 4digit code. But since I don't have the model number you may just try these codes and the instructions below.

4 digit code for Sony are:
0128, 0013, 0002, 0071, 0380, 0152
3 digit code for Sony are:
002, 006, 013, 071, 128, 380

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired TV button. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code or 3 digit code from the list above.
Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your TV on, press ON/OFF. If the TV turns off, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your TV, try one of the other
codes.

1. At the same time, hold down the "Setup" button and the button for whatever electronic you're trying to program ie, TV, DVD, CBL/SAT, etc...

2. Wait until the red indicator light comes on and stays on. Release it, then enter in the code. The light should immediately go off. If it blinks, then that means you've entered in the wrong code
