Re: NO IMAGE when watching TV boradcast
You may need a codec to be able to view the video.
I recommend the codec at the link below

Good luck,

Once you have Nvidia's Control panel installed there are multiple setting in the program that will allow you to adjust the size of the screen that Windows will not allow you to do.
Boot in safe mode. (press F8 during boot, just before windows starts loading). If the desktop is then displayed, the graphics card is still functional. I am not very familiar wih NVidia graphics drivers but you may want to check (after a normal reboot) in the NVidia control panel. FIrst try cloning the image (both screens get same picture and resolution) If that doesn't work, try lowering the resolution. When you have found a resolution where the tv does display a picture, extend your dektop to it, set your monitor back to its default resolution, and keep the tv at the resolution you've found works.
If nothing out of all this helps, I think you should try reconnecting (and replacing, if all else fails) the cable connecting PC and tv. If that doesn't solve the problem either, well..then I'm out of ideas. The only option left is that some hardware is broken, and I can't fix that from here.
What you could try is to reinstall your graphics driver, although that is not liely to help, since you've only installed it recently.
Well running vista on nvidia 5200 and expect for performance is nothing but a dream. If you are a gamer, you shoud REALLY get a new graphic board...an nvidia 8600 could help you.the rest of the configuration is great for running vista and play most of the games(with a new graphic board).
IF you don't need another graphic board and you don't play demanding games, the video driver could be your enemy... here is a site where you could download a GOOD driver www.Guru3d.com
well...the 7300 GS is not quite a powerfull board. frst it may be a problem if the card really support the tv out.. However,if it is just a driver/codec problem,I suggest you to reinstal the windows.the drivers and codecs which you repetedly used can harm your windows registers. after all this,if the problem persists, you can try instaling and older version of Nvidia driver..many times this old drivers work better.. bye
i think that when you installed xp the windows generic nvidia driver has installed and is now not looking for any more upto date software, you will have to go to device manager in control panel and go to hardware tab, then devices and then go down to the graphics controller/adadpter line, right click and select uninstal.
Restart the pc, but this time when the driver tries to install make sure that you select manual and not automatic then point the pc in the direction of the folder where you have the graphics driver residing on your c drive.
