there is no best. unless you stated.
what it is to be used for.(application, job, what?)
1: works (sure they do) but some huge ones do not work on really old PC or camera's.
2: or speed.
3: sizes, no job stated (usage) so no guess.

what you need we have no idea at all.
if saving video files speed matters?
if saving say only email, then small slow works ok.

your usage or applications, matter what you need.
they sell these at walmart, just buy one and be happy.

buyone $5, if not work take it back get another until happly.

As I understand you want to turn on Wi Fi then you may press FN button and search for button in upper line of keyboard (From F1 through F11 there should be antena sign)

The D600 line was introduced in 2004. The only accurate way to find the exact age of your laptop, or the PRODUCTION DATE is to contact Dell. Otherwise you would only be able to find out the general date which was the 2004-2005 years. After that they moved on to the D6X0 lines...D630, etc as the processors improved. Latitude D600
The D600 (and simultaneously-introduced D800) was Dell's first business-oriented notebook based on the Pentium-M processor; it used the first-generation "Banias" Pentium M chips running on a 400 MT/s FSB on DDR memory. It had a PATA hard drive and a D-series modular bay, and used an ATI GPU Radeon 9000. It had a 14" screen, in regular (non-widescreen) form factor. Unlike later D6x0 series machines, both memory sockets were accessible from a single cover on the bottom of the system.
Many Latitude models had a near-clone Inspiron, in the case of the D600, it was the Inspiron 600M. Differences include that the 600M does not work with the Dell D-Dock, and the case styling is slightly different. The motherboards, screens and hard drive caddies are all physically interchangeable

This means the number lock is on - in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard is a series of 4 keys.  Far right is delete, then (from the right) insert, Prnt Scrn, and Num Lk.  Hit the Num Lk key, and the number 9 with the padlock should shut off.  Your keyboard should now work normally.

The Inspiron 1720 &1721 series was released more than a year ago and is no longer available new, only refurbished. The comparbable machines currently on the market is the Inspiron 1525 & 1526 series. The 1525 &1526 series are comparable in price and specs, and the specs are a little better as far as graphics and sound cards. The 1730 series is still available, but it has a price of approx $2500.
