Can a ringtone be downloaded from one Samsung to another?

Go to settings> Sounds and Vibration >Ringtone.
Under Ringtone, scroll down the list to the bottom where you will see "Add from phone". Click on this + Add from phone and it will take you to your download ringtones. Hope this will help. I am using a Samsung Edge phone
and hopefully it's the same procedures. Some apps will allow you to change the ringtones within the app, so you don't have to go to the phone settings to do anything.

Add downloaded ringtone to the Ringtones folder then go to Settings->Sound->Phone Ringtone and choose what you downloaded.

Although your phone does support custom POLYPHONIC ringtones, this phone does not support Samsung PC Studio - where you can use software to copy ringtones from your computer to your phone.

However, by downloading the Samsung USB drivers and IF you have a memory card you may be able to transfer your ringtones to the memory card in your phone from your computer then:

1. From the main screen, press 'OK on the navigation key' > MENU, use the right navigation key to
highlight 'Settings & Tools'.
2. Press Sounds Settings.
3. Press Call Sounds.
4. Press Call Ringtone to choose:
• Preloaded ringtone(s) or
• Custom ringtone(s)
- Press Get New Ringtones.
Then follow the prompts.

To download the USB drivers click on the following link, then click on. "Software' just under the 'Downloads' Tab. Then click on the EXE File (under File) then download and install the USB drivers to your PC.

For music the Samsung J600 supports the following:-

MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ & WMA

for Ringtones it supports Polyphonic & MP3 Ringtones

Use these formats and it should work...

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.

you can only do this 2 ways. the first way being, go to myxer.com on your phones browser and download ringtones that you want. most are free. or, find a phone uploader and if the ringtones are already on your computer, upload them and send yourself a "jump code". i have sprint and this is what i use: http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ im not sure about bell though. it might work... good luck!
