You may also have to check the IC/Transistors Inverter transfomer drivers, also should Ohm out the resistance of the transformers.

Hi there mate i have a hp f2105 with the benq power supply in it which as gone faulty could u look at your power supply and tell me the numbers on the power ic which is ic651 thanks.

Capacitors on the power board inside the lcd monitor have blown they can be replaced with new ones and the monitor should return to normal operation.
service center or if you feel capable you can do it your self with a soldering iron and the correct caps that have blown you need voltage and micro faradays usually 25 v at 470 mfd (u)however monitors use different kinds and voltages can be different it will be marked on the side of the damaged capacitors.

it seems tht the monitor has gone bad & needs to be replaced....try running a monitor self test by unplugging the monitor cable frm the back of the cmputer & make sure the monitor is receving power frm the wall outlet....chk if the monitor displays anything......let me knw if it wrks

You must focus to mainboard of LCD monitor find the voltage regulator IC. Voltage test the regulator IC use digital or analog multimeter range 10v dc connect the negative to cold ground, these regulator providing a constant supply of 2.5 - 5v to all IC in the mainboard. check the scalar IC. Because scalar IC will convert analog input signal of Red, Green & Blue. Lastly check the controller board, check the ribbon cable connector from mainboard to
controller board for lose, check the fuse inside controller. I think the exact problem of your monitor could be either the (mainboard) or (LCD panel where the controller board is located).
