I can't seem to set the time on my used tag heuer watch

This is a used tag heuer professional that I bought used without instructions. I attempted to pull the crown out in the manner of most watches and it wouldn't move. Is it broke or is there something I dont know about tag watches.

Hi, just bought a used Tag F1 watch to find the date for the crown isn't moving past the 29th. The watch itself appears genuine as it has all the relevant papers, but I'm now starting to have concerns that it could potentially be a fake! Having said that would this be a common fault?

Just to add to that - could you tell me the year this model was relised and discontuned? Just curious to know. Thanks

Probably your watch has a screwdown crown and prior to attempt any settings you have to unscrew it. Some peoples fingers are stronger then others, so, try that with a pair of plyers. Cover your crown with a soft cloth and then grip with plyers(this will avoid any damage). Thread is right handed and unscrewing is done by turning the crown anticlockwise.
After setting the time don't forget to screw the crown back- it is for water resistance.
If you are unable to unscrew the crown, that means your watch is rusty and you will need watchmakers help.
PS If the watch is rusty, you can brake the crown off while trying to unscrew it. Don't panic yet, as in this case you will need a watchmaker anyway.

How do I set the time on a professional tag heuer ladies watch

You have to unscrew the crown once it is unscrewed can you pull it out once for the day and twice for your time. Be sure to screw the crown back in when you're finished or else you'll get moisture inside.

Tag Heuer watch losing time

Make sure the voltage on the new battery is correct. Just because a battery is new does not mean it is good. That is likely the problem.

My tag heuer 2000 chronograph professional button hard to press

Yes it would seem unlikely that the dial would cause this problem. It is more likely to be the seal if the pusher seems hard to depress. Watches should be serviced every two to three years at which time pusher seals are usually replaced. Recommend you take it to a watchmaker for a service to maintain the watch properly.

Just Got a tag professional ( Previously Owned)

Hard to tell without knowing what model or caliber number (usually on back). Generally, if you pull the crown (winding knob) out all the way you can set the time. Push it ONE click in, you can set the date. Check with the manufacturers website for a book of instructions you can download.
