Hi Rosemary, You only need to program the universal remote to the set top box OR t-box but unfortunately I don't know of any universal remote controls that include codes for set top boxes, Set top boxes OR t-box are fairly cheap these day and they usually come with a remote.......... CHEERS..

Their doesn't appear to be anywhere you can buy a Direct Replacement Remote for this Model. The only option therefore is to buy a Universal Remote Control but these aren't always guaranteed to operate a particular model and you have to go through the process of finding the correct code and even then it may not be 100% compatible. On the plus side they are fairly cheap so probably worth giving it a try.

hi roy i hope i can help you? may i please ask you the new remote you got is it for a set top box? your make of machine punch in all the codes one at a time untill it comes on. are you able to switch on manually? may i please ask you what is the name off the set top box? if the remote is not doing the job. all you need to do is check ARGOS can you use the remote on the tv? if no replace the remote which will do the tv and your set top box i hope this has helped you .

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Polaroid TV ( without a built-in VCR or DVD) is 0765. I can not be sure, if this number will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
