Question about Coby MP-C741 MP3 Player
My Coby mp3 player, after about three weeks starting giving me not authorized messages on 96/100 of my loading songs. It will not let me listen to them. It doesn't give a reason why either. I haven't erased the memory yet because it wasn't full and I didn't think that I should have to reload all over again. I upload from Napster. I am a memeber. Is it a programed "time out"? I hope not, I paid for the songs. Thank you for your help.

Take your sales receipt and player back for a refund. These players have so many glitches,hiccups,and charging problems that they should be pulled off the shelves. If the player performed as well as it looks then it'd be a nice gadget but this is unfortunately not the case...

Go to the Coby website, look for your model player.On the that page there is an option to download latest firmware and the video converter.Download the zip file for the firmware.PLEASE NOTE...when you unzip the file please read the pdf file for instuction before you try to click the actual firmware file.One important reason is because using the firmware update restores your player to manufactures default and deletes all files presently on it....So my advice back up your files and read the instructions carefully.This fireware update is specifically to fix that sys err problem.
