My printer is stuck. Won't work. It keeps indicating fax mode. Strange thing, I have never actually hooked the fax up. how do I get it back to printing

Please follow the following steps.

1) Turn off the printer.

2) Shutdown the PC to which the printer is connected.

3) Remove the USB/Serial cable through which the printer is connected to the PC and reconnect it back.

4) Now switch ON the PC(only PC and not the printer)

5) Let the PC boot up and login to windows.

6) Now switch on the printer, PC should detect the printer automatically now.

Now you will be able to print.If not then follow the following steps.

Please be informed that any Printer Driver software depends upon the hardware make and Operating System. You need to know all these information's to do get going.

Please find the Driver software's of your printer inside the installation disk provided with the Printer at the time of purchase. As you have not mentioned your Printer make I am unable to give you the direct download link. However you can download the same by visiting the website of the company that manufactured the Printer.

Even here you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the Printer Model number and the OS that you are using.

To install just Double clock on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.
