Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Menus not responding

About 2 months ago I bought a Razar v3 from T-mobile and last night something weir started to happen. The screen with myfaves wont stop moving. Because of this I can't select anyone to call. If I go into the menu it does the same thing, scrolls through all of the icons non stop. It seems like one of the buttons is broken or somehow always being pressed down. While this is happening any calls I get go right to the voice mail and it doesnt ring. and I cant make any calls. I got it to work for a little while by taking the battery,sim card and sd card out and then putting them back in. It worked fine for about 12 hrs and then the same problem started again, and that doesnt work anymore. Any idea what the prb is or how to fix it? thanks.

    Thanks for the reply. I bought my phone from the T-mobile website because there is no store within 100 miles of my home. I called them about the problem and was goiong to send it in but now the phone is working fine. I left the battery and sim card out for a day and then left it on for another day and now its working fine. So im going to hope that its going to last but if the problem comes back I will send it in.

Take it back to the store. It is still under warranty if there is no physical or water damage to it. They should be able to replace it at no cost.

Well... I would say no.. Not worth battery.. I had the same thing happen to me where my phone wouldn't charge and we bought a new battery for $50.00 and then we find out my phone is shot.. so I would strongly recommend getting a new phone..

That means the your flash cable has damaged. You have to call Motorola and repair it. Some time ago I have the same problem with my D&G phone

Myfaves wont show up on my jump screen

Since you took your SIM and put it in her phone it probably needs time to sync with T-mobile server.  If your plan does not include data, it may be unable to connect to do this.  I would suggest calling T-Mobile and asking them to send an update to the phone.  I know when I first got my Sidekick 08 it took a few hours for MyFaves to show up even after it was activated, working and connected to the network.  You didn't mention how long ago you made this switch.  The best thing is just let it rest a few hours, make sure it has good signal and network connection.  It should come along.  (Did you have MyFaves on your previous phone?)

LG KF510 will not turn on

Take it to the repair shop. My son's KF510 did the same. I await the results of the autopsy!
It started to play up almost straight away when he bought it a month ago. Last night it failed to go past KF510 logo then goes to a low level purple screen. Removing the battery seemed to fix it prior but not now!

Problem

Try the phone while plugged in and see what happens.  If it works fine then it's probably the battery or the contacts to the battery.  I've had a problem with my razr that's similar to this.  My razr is on the keys light up when i press something but the screen is completely blank open and closed and all the buttons work.  Best thing to try is leave out with battery and sim card out and it might start working again.  However if it is only 2 months old it should still be covered under warranty.
