Computer says sync'd when it is not

I'm trying to put music on my Son's psp, while the computer says that the music is sync'd to the device, the device has the music, but it is just the folder with no music in it. I can't delete the files from the psp either.

Dont kno how to put music and videos in my psp

Putting music or videos on the PSP is a fairly simple and straightforward process.

What you'll need:
  • a mini USB to USB cable (to connect the PSP to the computer)
  • a memory stick (to store your music and videos)
Instructions:
  1. Put the memory stick in the PSP.
  2. Connect the PSP with the mini USB to USB cable to the computer
  3. On the PSP, go to the settings menu and select "USB Connection."
  4. Your computer should recognize that a device has been connected to it, open up the device (your PSP) inside a file viewer, such as windows explorer. There should be a few folders here one named Video and one named Music.
  5. Add the music and video files to these folders, and press O(circle) on the PSP to end the USB Connection.
  6. If all has gone right, and the files are the correct formats, you should be able to enjoy your music and videos on your PSP.

My music doesnt work when i sync it to my psp..how do i put music on my psp?

You must have a memory stick in your PSP to add music or pictures to it.

When I connect my PSP to my computer with USB or pull the memory stick out and stick it in a card reader, I can copy music directly into the (drive letter):\MUSIC directory. Then when I disconnect the PSP or reinsert the memory card into it, the music is there to play.

Sync music to psp

  • Hook USB cable between the PSP and PC
  • On the PSP under Settings, select USB connection
  • Your Vista PC should recognize that the PSP is connected. The PSP should be displaying "USB Mode".
  • On the PC add music to the removable drive that represents your PSP memory stick. Put the music in the Music Folder.
