If no access from the front you will have to get at it from the back. Remove the back covers, the light socked will probably be held in place by a few screws or clamps. remove the entire assembly as one unit, replace the bulb and re-install.
Hi, My Neff oven bulb was replace with a new one after the old stopped working. The new bulb lasted 4 days and stopped working, could you tell me what seem to be the problem please.
I will assume that the ZDQ695 bulb replacement procedure is the same as that for the ZDQ695A. The ZDQ695 uses a 25 W appliance light bulb (300 C). Unplug the appliance before starting. Open the oven and remove the racks for space to work. Insert a flat blade screwdriver between the side of the oven and the glass cover above the bulb. With your hand support the cover and pry it away from the wall of the oven until it releases. Push the top of the cover towards the oven wall and use your fingers to pry the bottom of the cover away from the housing. Then remove the cover. Unscrew the old bulb (counterclockwise) and then remove the bulb. Then screw in the new bulb. Replace the glass cover (position the flange so that it is pointing to the back of the oven) by pushing it into the hole to cover the bulb assembly. Replace the shelves and close the oven door before plugging the oven back in.
NORMALLY THERE ARE SCREWS TO REMOVE TO ACCESS A PANEL TO REMOVE THE LIGHT BULB. IF THERE ARE NOT, THEN THE EXTERIOR COVER MAY NEED TO BE REMOVED TO ACCESS THE LIGHT BULB. THIS EXTERIOR COVER HAS SCREWS.
MAKE SURE YOUR CIRCUIT BREAKER IS OFF BEFORE YOU TRY TO REPLACE THE BULB.
I realized the light bulb was fixed using an adhesive (maybe a glue stick) that is why, I had a hard time removing the old bulb. After forcing it (and breaking the adhesive seal) I was able to replace it with a new one.
hi
You may need to remove the glass cover by turning it anti-clockwise. On some models access to the bulb is from outside so the oven has to be slid out of it's housing and an access plate removed.
chek this following steps..
Step 1
Make sure the bulb is actually burned out. Confirm the oven is plugged in and that a circuit breaker is not tripped.
Step 2
Look for the manual to determine what size bulb is required. Most use a 40 watt appliance bulb. If you can not find the manual, then buy a bulb to replace it after you take out the old one.
Step 3
Confirm that the oven is not on. Allow it to cool to room temperature if it has recently been used.
Step 4
Open the door and use a flashlight to light the area where the bulb is located. Do not put weight on the door itself, but go in at an angle or sideways.
Step 5
Find the shield or cover over the bulb, gently pull or twist it off. Some glass covers are surrounded by a wire clip or a ring that is screwed in to the back.
Step 6
Gently remove either the wire clip or ring. Since the cover is most likely glass, be cautious. Unscrew the entire glass cover similar to a jar lid in older versions of ovens. Then repeat process if there is more than one bulb.
most oven light covers simply unscrew or unclip remove old bulb however with certain models you might need to get in touch with the manufacturer for a replacement bulb but most can be obtained from the high street
looked up the bulb part is no longer available, but it looked like a regular appliance light bulb, remove the old one no diffrent then any appliance bulb you can buy in the supermarket if need be
