I have a new olympus ws 300. i paid far too much for it. however, after opening the box, i misplaced the owners manuel. i was not worried at first because it seemed very simple to use..wrong. recored 2.5 hours of school work and lost it. i did not see a place to save the work. after fiddling with the thing i suppose i erased the material without ever touching the erase button. if the work is still there somehow, i would like to know where. all i find are the play, stop, and record buttons on one side. i see the music or voice or hold choice on the other side, the mic and ear choices on the top and the erase, folder index and menu wheel on the front...nothing on the bottom or back. now that menu wheel..it gives me volume and time, but i have no clue as to what else; i can't find anything. the folder index gives me numbers like a 1 or a 2 and the time remaining, but i have no idea as to what it does for files. and another thing is, i can not see where to put the usb cord. do i need an adapter or something? please respond quickly. if i had the book, i would take it back and exchange it. i can't now.
