Printer used to work fine. Cartridges in place with ink. Deep cleaning several times. Reinstalled driver from Canon site. Test print shows blue where red and yellow should be. Blue cartridge being drained quickly. Red and yellow remain full to the brim.
You did the right thing. Sometimes a bad printhead or a bad cartridge will cause a leak and will damage both. Good job!

My printer now works fine. Solution: 1) Installed new print head. 2) Installed new cartridges.
The tech suggested new print head. It helped somewhat. I suspected contamination from the bad print head so a changed the cartridges.
All of my pictures print with a bluish hue. My blue cartridge drains a t a faster rate than other cartridges.
When I first start up everything prints blue. I've done deep cleaning etc. Ink cartridges are new. After awhile it seems (?) that colors return to normal (I'm still testing this factor.). When I shut off for the night and turn on again then everything is blue again. Frustrating.
