Question about Homedics Shiatsu Massager

Won't turn off and the mechanism has quit moving

Model SBM 300H. It has the shiatsu and rolling massage with heat. I love it, but you can hear noise, but the wheels no longer turn and it won't turn off. I have to unplug it to get it off. Is this repairable. I love it and the replacement I've gotten, but not opened, doesn't seem to have the rolling feature.

My mom had the same problem so i unzipped it from the back, and once i started to take out the padding i saw that there was a wire unplugged so i plugged it back in and it worked!

Radio Shack, you need to know how much amps it needs and might have to bring it in to fit the plug.

Start with checking the fuse. You need to open the thing up. You will find the fuse soldered on a little board.

I am afraid to use my American bought Shiatsu Massaging Cushion in Israel using a simple adapter. Should I get something that will guard against a power surge? Israel is 220 V.

hi: just buy AVR (automatic voltage regulator)
it has built in surge protector, and regulate AC voltage.

Home power adapter for the SBM300 is an ADP 2007. There are a few used ones for sale on line.

Yes there was a short circuit and am sure the massager and the cpomputer where plugged in the sane extension box that was why there was loss of power when the massager stopped working.For the massager it is the fuse so get a new fuse for it.

Doesn't work at all

Well it has a zipper in the back have you ever unzipped it? Because my mom hers didnt work, so i unzipped it and some cord was unplugged so that might just be it, you need to unzip the whole thing, and pull it out because some of the wires hide.

The power led light keeps flashing

Hi.
Give it a good 'knock' on the back (hard surface). You might hear a clink sound. I think it's when a cog gets out of line. My chair is fine now. You'll notice that the rollers start moving back to the off setting. So if it goes off and they are in the middle or top then it's stuck and needs a thwack!
