Sounds like the typical power surge created by the outage has caused a power supply problem inside your TV. IF that is it, there not much you can do yourself.

Simple Solution. I have an almost the same TV and if you want it to stay in one format press the FORMAT button on the remote. I am pretty sure it is somewhere on the top right.

I would advise you to contact your LG dealer as there was a software issue which related to this problem & would need to be carried out by an engineer.

1.This issue sounds as though the TV connection circuit has an issue.
2. You have changed the DVR and the HDMI cables and you still have an issue with the video (pink screen) indicates a video circuit issue ( improper voltage or current) at the video section of the circuit.
3. This will require some troubleshooting by a qualified tech.
4. To make sure, try connecting another properly working LCD TV to the cable box or DVR an check. If you get a picture and sound properly it is the TV.
5. Usually a cable box is QA'd (quality assured) by the company and will not be sent unless tested 1st
