I have an Vizio TV, model E420VA and urc-7140 remote control, and having trouble locating correct codes; any suggestions?
Code for Vizio is 0081
This is the only one universal remote code available for this brand.

Hello, follow this link to download the manual and the codes for your remotes:

just right click and save as on the download links.
if this does not work you can try the search method,
you do
this by either holding down the device button eg: TV or if you have one
the "magic" button for three seconds, a light should then flash twice
to say you have done this correctly.
then press the keys 991 then the power button.
you must now press the channel up key (ch+) possibly upto 150 times while the remote cycles through every code.
Once your tv or device switches off stop pressing the ch+ key and press the power button to make sure it switches back on,
(if you press ch+ too many times you can go back by pressing ch-)
When complete press the magic or device key again to save the settings (light should flash twice to confirm)

I'm seeing codes 0808 and 0854 could work...
The original codes from the EU URC7711 manual are
Centrex 0780 0891
Also try these
0037 0178 1437 0556
If no luck... go buy a 7$ GE universal remote they work for even the most stubborn TV's
Also when you do the manual search function you have to press enter 999 times before you start the list over... so if you got frustrated... like after 100 tries... you only made it to code 0100 the list ends at 0999

Try 627 for Vizio TVs - that should work on the Dish remote.
