Not all the WeighMax bathroom scales take the same kind of battery. If your scale is one of them listed on the web page cited above, click or tap on the link for the information on the scale and look for the information on Power to find out the kind of batteries needed.

I do not find any instructions for where to find the battery compartment on any WeighMax bathroom scale. Therefore, I suggest you contact WeighMax Technical Support and ask. remove battery. leave out for an hour then put back in. memory wiped then.

If you want to measure accurate weight of your body, then you should to use Omron HN-286 Digital Slimline Bathroom Scale which uses 4 sensors for greater precision in order to accurately measure body weight.

Could someone tell me the battery needed for the Simply Bathroom body analysing scale - model 4528?

I called Taylor; the Model 7542 take a 3v CR2032 battery available at Walgreen's, CVS, WalMart, etc.
