I have an x1a that only has 96 hours on it since I purchased it new approximately a year and a half ago. It has worked great until this week when the picture went black after about 1 or 2 minutes running. The lamp stays on, but there is no picture on the screen. I can shut it down, wait a couple minutes and the result is the same thing, after a minute the picture just goes black. This seems to be a heat related issue.
There are two fans internally, (that I can see), a small one directed toward the color wheel and a larger one directed at the lamp, and they are both spinning just fine.
I removed the lamp and cleaned the screen, which really wasn't that bad.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and how I can fix it?
I just bought a replacement bulb for my x1a and it was working fine until today, it just started like normal but the video goes out, it's like it turns itself off. then when I use the remote to see if I can turn it back on the light on top flashes red three times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I just bought a replacement bulb for my x1a and it was working fine until today, it just started like normal but the video goes out, it's like it turns itself off. then when I use the remote to see if I can turn it back on the light on top flashes red three times. Well if the console had blanked out on you and the red light is still on getting power. THis has happened to me half way through perfect dark while I was playing it froze and then the screen went black and then it went to the tv screen saying no siginal it means that the expansion pack has died on you then. So i tried a new expansionpack for my 12 year old N64 console at that time and it worked again. It could just be a easy problem then. 5 STARS UIF THIS SOLUTION WAS HELPFUL.
If you have power to the outlet and no power to the printer it could be the printers power supply or the printer itself. The printer should have a 1 year factory warranty and most manufaturers now will make some accomodation for shipping the printer to and from you with you paying either none or just part of the shipping. You could try unplugging it for a half hour or hour to see if the power supply is just overheated but in most cases if it just quits working with no sign of life it will need serviced or replaced. If it is not under warrany it may be cheaper to buy new as you can get decent color printes for $50.00 or less now.
unfortunately. This is a classic symptom of a faulty inverter board. I would suggest looking on ebay to see is there is a cheap replacement. Purchasing a new one is usually not economical these days.
we were unable to pull the projector menu & it also took about 2 hours for the bulb to turn on.......the fan works, have changed the bulb, closed the bulb door & tried to reset the projector.......help!
