Started off with the same problem but after trying all the above I can now copy music files into the MP4 window on screen, but when I want to play from the MP4 after it's disconnected from the computer, the Music menu shows the disk is empty.

Bought the same MP4 player and found the problem of dounloding to be just that. solved it by making a new folder on desktop called MP3 and downloaded everything into that folder and then draged it into the device found in Computer files. hope this helps. havent found how to download videos yet. will keep working. not much help on this player.

I had the same problem with a Eurolab MP4 player. Turned out the USB cable that came with it was faulty. Try using another USB cable, ie. one from your printer. The MP4 player will come up as an external hard drive. Just copy and paste the MP3's and correctly recompressed MP4's onto it, and it should be right to go.

When i try to send videos off my computer to the ipod when i disconnect it after it done sync the videos dont be on the ipod

You can try those steps:
1. Fet a video converter just like Leawo iPod Video Converter.
2. Convert your videos to the MP4 format with H.264 code, or you can choose profile as iPod Touch.
3. drag the MP4 videos into iTunes and sync into your iPod.

Cant watch dvd movie on ipod touch

I think you should change another DVD Ripper. Maybe you can try to use Leawo DVD to iPod Video Converter.

Leawo Free DVD to iPod Converter is a totally DVD to iPod converter free software, while Leawo DVD to iPod Converter Pro is an extremely powerful DVD iPod Converter that can convert DVD to iPod MP4 without limitations for iPod Touch, iPod Touch 4, etc.

Video storage

To view the stored videos on your iPod they have to be in MP4 format. You can right click the video file in iTunes and click "Convert To iPod" or something similar. The only problem with this is some file types are converted without sound. To fix this download/purchase a Mp4 video converter and convert your files then sync them using iTunes.

To STORE the video file, but not be able to watch it, go to iTunes when the iPod is connected to your computer and check the "Removable Disk" (Or something similar, seeing how the software may have updated) option and eject your iPod. Reconnect your iPod and go to "My Computer" and you should be able to access your iPod as a removable disc.
