Green light on indicating it is charged but phone will not turn on or work
This phone is out of warranty but several months from the time I can get a new one under my plan. My mother had the same problem on the same phone and had to get a replacement.
The phone won't go on but the green light is on when I try to charge it - indicating normally that it is fully charged.
Is this phone toast?

Re: Green light on indicating it is charged but phone...
To be honest, Your phone's main board has malfunctioned, Can't specify what exactly the problem is. But I can Say that it's good that you can get one under your plan.
This happens when phones are overcharge, power surged, dropped or random factory made problems.

I recall that they are really good about warranty for defective products.
My suggestion would be to contact the customer service representative at the store where you bought the unit. A friendly "consumer oriented" approach on your part will hopefully get a reasonable response.
Best of luck.
If you have only had this phone for 6 months, it should still be under warranty. Also, if you have the insurance plan for the phone from your phone company, they should honor the policy and assist you or replace it for free. My first stop would be at the place that you purchased it from. Even if they wind up charging you a small fee, it will be much less than buying a new one. I hope that this helps.
Generally this type of problem arises due to Battey. But in u r case it appears like a Mother Board Problem. So u better to visit nearer HP/compaq Service Station u can extende warranty for another year if ur previous extended warranty expired within 6 months...there is a provision in HP Customer Support.
Apart from this You can buy third party Mother boards compatible for V 2000 in other Laptop Acessories store
The Service Plan from Walmart is an "extended plan" on top of the manufacture warranty. Your Tv is still under warranty from the manufacture.

Even if your phone isn't under warranty you can get it replaced. Call verizon (*611) hit 0 and explain your problem. If they ask if there was water damage, corrosion, or NON VZW RINGTONES say no to all. ***** and complain about switching service and they will send you a refurbished phone of the same type. I have dont this nine times with my env. Piece of **** phone
This sounds like part of your power board is having problems. There may be a resistor heating up on it, or even a solder bridge, whihc results from a surface mount machine. In other words a factory defect. I would take it back and make them fix it under the warranty. Hope this helps,
Your washer is still under manufacturer's warranty which is one full year. If it has Kenmore's name on it you do not need proof of purchase. The only thing you need is your mother-in-law's home phone number at time of purchase because Sears keeps all their records based on phone numbers.
