Remote control seems to hesitate

Being new to all of the digital stuff, i had to really figure out how to get things to work properly. the only problem i have had with the television is that the remote will be changing fine, and then suddenly it stops working for a 15 to 30-second period. it starts working again without any other problems noted. my wife wants to trade the whole thing is and get another one. i think that the problem is either the processor in the television getting bogged down with the flipping (which will be solved when we get a digital cable box and remote), or the remote has a glitch (which will also be solved with a universal or other replacement.

How do i figure out what universal remotes will work with hiteker model,e32v7/wt?

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites Check this site too.

I have an etec model # 40A99 40' flat screen tv with no remote. ive tried programming several different universal remote controls and the only thing it will do is turn tv off and on and volum

This TV will work properly with its original remote control only. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.

Bought a new Sony flat screen and the channel changer on the remote wont work

If it is its original remote control, there should not be a problem like this; as all the other buttons works properly. If it a universal remote control, some buttons on it might not work properly. The only thing to check is, try with an other set-up codes to Sony brand TV, with the universal remote control.

013/ 054/ 055/ 060/ 065/ 067/ 089 These are the three digit codes to Jvc brand TVs. As there is no remote control with you, the first thing to know is, to which code do your TV respond. Some TVs will respond to three digit codes, some others will only respond to four or five digit codes. If your TV do respond to three digit codes, a universal remote control, which have the above said codes in its code list will work. If you wish to get three, four & five digit code list to some popular remote controls, check the links given above. You can choose the proper remote control to your TV. But before buying a new remote control, make sure about the number of digits of codes that TV must have.

I have the GE RM24927 remote and I can't find a code that orks for my Emerson EWC20D3 TV/DVD Combo. I have tried to auto set the code yet it doesn't seem to be finding a code that will work. Can you help...

your problem is shoddy craftsmanship. return this remote immediately. i've sat here and tried to program it and the light blinks every time i enter the first digit of the 4 digit code. oh and the manual on the ge website says i'm supposed to use a 3 digit code. well i looked up the ones the website was calling for and they are the same as my 4 digit code. for example 0123 is really just 123. this thing is a piece of ****.

Ya it does work with the codes given.. Just make sure you are close to the tv or product you are wanting to program -- other equipment can interfer ... hold search code button down until it stays on then press tv/sat or what ever u want to program then put in the code then power button, item should shut off-- if it doesn't work then try the next code for the brand of tv/sat/vcr u have.. here is the web site with the manual on it..3 different models of this remote just select the one u have from the list on the left.
