The screen of my digital camera is busted. You cant see anything but white and what looks like ink splatter. I would like to know how i can get this fixed, do i have to send it in? or buy another camera, please tell me the cheapest way. Thank you very very much!

Hello, This problem occurs when the 2 pieces of glass holding the display alltogheter are broken by a mechanical shock. When this happens the tft (twin film transistor) area is broken and the display itself is compromised. The solution to this is to change the whole display unit. You may send the camera to repair, it will cost arround 70-100$ to have it fixed. That is excluding labour costs and transport. In my opinion it is worth it.
