Hi..Kenmore 74125 just suddenly not working . The lights are on, and it sounds like it is trying to work, then nothing happens and it gets very quiet. Kind of buzzes, like something is trying to happen, but then...nothing. It is only a couple of years old. The filter is clean, the temp. tube thing isn't touching anything, just can't figure out what the problem is.Tired unplugging for a while, then tried leaving it off for a while, nothing seems to work.
Sounds like the compressor has frozen up, either by actual freezing or by needed lubricant. try to verify that it turns. if you have to, try this: power off, open it, attach separate wall cord to 2 wires entering compressor motor. did it turn?
