Help! My air conditioner is leaking water into the room. Any ideas?
during Cooling and Dry modes, if the unit is used under conditions of
lower temperature (18C) the heat-exchanger may freeze, leading to water leakage and other damage.
If the unit is used for long periods under high-humidity conditions, condensation may form on the surface of the indoor
unit, and drip onto the floor or other objects underneath. (About 80% or more)
Increase Temp to 20 and also run coil dry cycle,

Yes I do. My units were leaking. I had an aircon tech come out and clean the blower. I was full of mold. It is not an easy task. Most aircond techs don't want to touch these units. Each machine took about an hour to clean. I am so glad that I had that done, now the house smells cleaner. Inge

Is it a split system? I had the same problem with my split system and and it was because the condenser line was mounted wrong. The line was mounted so the water had to go uphill and it was causing the condensation to leak through the front of the unit.

Make sure the unit is level, this is very important. Check for blocked drain tube, which runs from the bottom of the drain pan under the cold coil to the outside. Clear tube with a piece of coathanger wire, be gentle.

The AC is leaking water thru the front. I have cleaned the filters and it is mounted right, as it has been here for serveral years. What I need to know is where the drain pan is, so I can empty it. We never got a booklet when this home was built. Just send me the location of the drain, and I am sure that is what is causing this problem. Thank you very much.
It is hot time - and AirCon has been on for few day at 19c - but now start leaking water from the front? Any Help??
