option 1: Do a factory reset on the entire unit (back up any personal data first as this will erase everything and restore device to out-of-the-box condition)
Shut down computer. Plug into charging adapter if not already. Power on again and immediately hold down F4 (after powering on) while the computer is booting up. this will boot you into the Samsung Recovery Solution application. Select Restore>Complete Restore and let the process run its course. If you boot into windows normally by mistake, shut down and repeat these steps again.

Press F10 to save and exit. Connect a bootable USB dongle and re-boot the laptop.
