Hr 3000

Frequently the problem for this is a plastic ring that has three pins in it. Normally the pins break through the bottom of the ring.
You need to take covers off. Strip SDS chuck. Remove plastic cap from end of drill then remove large internal retaining ring. Tap end of drill with mallet and eventually the tool holder will come out.
At the bottom of the tool holder there is a thin O ring (all this does is keeps a plastic gear and springs on the tool holder.) Remove this ring gear and springs can now be removed. You should now see the plastic ring (approx. 30mm long) Examine ring and pins, probably need to replace ring. This is usually the cause of not hammering, I have found changing seals works for weak hammering. Although having stripped the drill to this point I normally change the O rings on the hammer and piston. Rebuild is reverse of stripping be careful with the thin O ring not to snap it.

How to remove a crank shaft seal

This is a big job and you will need a manual for guidance. Basically remove the gear box ( auto or manual) remove the clutch assembly or flex plate . Remove the flywheel. Use a seal remover tool or drill a small hole in the seal and inset a self tapper screw and lever out the seal. Replace with a new seal taking care to install with out damaging the seal. Replace all the removed items. As I said a big job and will take about 8 hours for a novice.

Replacing gears

you have to disassemble the tool completely. Remove chuck, remove battery, remove all screws holding body parts together, remove one side of body. Now you can see motor and gear box. Pull out both of them and twist gearbox a bit (just few degrees or millimeters) if it goes, then just pull gear away from the motor. Be carefull, some gear parts may drop of, so hold gearbox down and motor up. Juraj

How do I remove the spindle gear to replace the

find a schematic for your tool and it will show you how things go together. you may need a press to press it out or a gear puller. if the schematic shows spendal and gear apart you should be able to remove the gear. if it shows all one piece, then you replace the whole thing.
