I would recommend that you do not do that..
Recommendation:
Use the reset button on T sonic..if you format it might destroy other stuff on T sonic which is necessary for it to work!!
Reset with a pin or paperclip...

my i pod is hang some time and after some min its autometically soutdown evan my battry is full.

Try to charge with power switch to ON position

1.download the appropriate firmware from here 2.press and hold reset button for 2 seconds 3.run the firmware updater 4.press and hold "volume -" button while connecting to system. 5.the updater will detect the player and it will upgrade the firmware.

have you gotten it to charge fully ? 16 hours or so
also there should be a little reset switch you can put a pin or tip into and that can sometimes do the job..
if it's usb just plug it in to any computer
