Sony TA-SA300WR surround amplifier red light keep blinking

Does it blink to the beat of the sound or is it flashing? If it's flashing with no audio it usually means overheating.
If it beats to the music it's usually is a warning that you are "clipping" which means you're overdriving the amplifier This can damage the speakers and overheat the amplifier.

Avoid red lights by having each stage of amplification not exceed 95%.

I have a 800 watt ma audio i was loosening speaker clamps when one my kids turned tunes on and i touched amp with wrench causing a spark immediately shut car down but got a burnt smell. Protect light...

Afraid you may have blown an amplifier. If you have a AC voltmeter, audio generator and schematic, you can feed audio signal into unit and track the signal on both channels during amplification stages.and locate the spot where the amplification stops or one channel deviates from the other. And there is your culprit.

Should I replace my lamp for my Panasonic 1080i htd t.v. pt-50LC14

Replacing a lamp won't work. There is not even one lamp in your TV. I'm afraid the lightening has done more damage than can be repaired. Even when some tech manages to repair te error, the TV can have the next error in days or weeks.

RED Port light on AMP?

are you sure its not PROT?
the amplifier is protecting itself from fire because of something.
Disconnect the subs. and turn on.
if it comes on normally, the subs are at fault and will need attention. If the light still stays on, you hafe probably blown an output on the amplifier and it will need repair.

Amplifer Not Operating

The red led is the protect indicator.

When this stays red you have either a bad speaker or the amp has a blown channel. Those are the 2 most common problems with the protect light staying red.

Disconnect the speakers and if the amp turns on without speakers, you most likely have a bad speaker. Take them in to a service center and have them checked.

if you disconnect the speakers and it still stays red, you most likely have a bad channel in the amp.

There is nothing you can do with that except to take it in to be serviced.

Both of the possibilities are common problems with all car amplifiers.

Since you checked the wiring, there is really no other end user actions that can help you on this.

Sorry for the bad news, but if this information was of value to you a good rating would be appreciated and appropriate.

Light stays red

I do belive this amplifer has a red light when it is on... I know my Kenwood does. I suggest checking all your wireing between your amp and your speakers, check the impediance between your positive and negative terminals on your leads to the subs.
