I HAVE A FRIGIDAIRE FEF352DWA OVEN THAT WILL NOT COME UP TO TEMPERATURE. YOU MUST SET THE TEMP HIGH , NOT AS BAD AT LOWER TEMPS(350 MUST BE SET TO 365) BUT IN ORDER TO REACH 425 YOU HAVE TO SET IT TO 490. ANY SUGGESTIONS. ANY CALIBRATION THAT COULD BE DONE? THANKS, JIM
Hello,
You can calibrate the oven on this model. Press the bake button, adjust the bake temperature up to 550 degrees and then press and hold the bake button until a 0 displays. Now you can adjust the oven temperature up or down to match the display.
Here is a repair manual link that you can use to download frigidaire repair manuals. The one for 30 inch freestanding ranges will have the section on calibrating the oven's electronic control.
Thanks
Yes there is something you can do. you can close the gap in temp by + or - 30degress by pressing and holding the bake button the display will change to 0 and now you can press up or down to what you want to calibrate it to. when set press start. now it's set. If your temp wonders off again you will have to replace the temp sensor. NOTE: SOME MODELS ARE DIFFERENT IN CHANGING THE CALIBRATION REFER TO THE OWNERS MANUAL IF THIS DOESN'T CHANGE YOUR CAL-SETTING
Hi
This means a
loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the
door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
