I have the Canon Pixma iP1500 and it just won't print out pink. Every other color prints out fine. I have new cartridges and have deep cleaned the heads several times. I even took out the cartridge to clean the head manually but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I say pink because when it goes through the testing phase after putting in the new cartridges all of the other colors print except for the column that appears to be pink on the computer screen. This is so frustrating.I say pink because when it goes through the testing phase after putting in the new cartridges all of the other colors print except for the column that appears to be pink on the computer screen. I don't know all the Canon model range. Speaking generally however most ink jet printers print in 4 or 6 colours that is black blue red yellow or as above plus light cyan[light blue] and light magenta[ light red] and the occasional specialist model which may have a seventh colour[very rare] Pink as a colour does not actually exist - it is a made up colour. So tell me how many cartridges your printer takes.

Hi alexgallo01 Do you get other colours except pink? If that is the case, reasons could be: 1. there is not enough RED or BLUE in the cartridge. 2. you haven't selected pink colour on the text or images you are trying to print. If you are typing a document highlight the text you want in pink, and choose PINK color for the font. Then print the document. The printer will use color closest to your choice, if it does not have the exact color. Hope this will help. If it help you, please give a rating Cheers luciana44
I have the same problem. At first I thought the printhead clogged but dipping it in solvent did not work. I guess the only thing we could do is to buy a new print head, but at the cost it's going at, we might as well get a new printer. Other than that try sent a RMA.
