Danby air conditioner model #DPAC10060(R)

I bought a air conditioner last summer and I just pulled it out again, but I can't find the manual on it. It has a huge water tank at the back and I need to know what kind of maintence it requires. Know anywhere that I can get the user manual for that model? Thanks Ashley

I have a Simplicity dehumidifier/humidifier model SHCC6026 by Danby, bought new, used 2 months last summer as a dehumidifier, was emptied and dryed before storing for the winter. On start up this summer,...

I contacted the Danby Co. and found out the unit was still under warranty. They gave me the name of a local repair shop who replaced the float sensor "free of charge".
Thank you for your time and interest. If I have another problem later I will be in touch with you.

Seems fully operational but not blowing cold air

Sounds like you may have a small leak in the sealed system. If you don't have the receipt, contact the factory and provide them with your model and serial numbers, and if they fall within the warranty manufacture date, you should be able to get any Danby factory authorized service center to repair it for you, in accordance with the factory warranty policy.

Room temperature has not changed since hooking up new portable a/c

This may sound dumb but ( 1) Do you have the warm air from the unit to the exterior of the space? If the condenser is in the space your putting the heat your trying to remove right back into the space. ( 2 ) There should be an air supply and an air return in the space only. With that there should be a temperature difference of 16 to 20 degrees between the supply and return. ( 3 )A 1 ton unit usually will cool approximately 400 square feet. ( 4 ) It may take a while to pull the space temp down due to pulling the heat and moisture from the ceiling, walls, and floor. This could take 6 hours or more the first time you use the system in a space.
