Depends on the on router. The button should have a picture of an antenna on it or say WPS. Pres it and the light will flash then press the wps feature button on the device you are connecting. If this is a Linksys EX0000 model it should be on front and center on the top of the router.

Where/what is the WPS button on a CANON MX454 printer

The WPS button is not on the printer. This button would be located on your router itself.
If your router does not have a clearly marked 'WPS' button, please use the CD with your computer to perform the standard wireless installation.........
or try this link...

How to connect to linksys wrt1900ACS router?

If you scroll to the network settings on your brother printer, you will see that you can navigate to the option where you select your wireless network and then input your password.
You could also select the WPS option on your printer and router to connect them without the use of your router password if you prefer.

Where is the was button

I'm guessing you mean the WPS button - "Wireless Protected Setup" - As far as I can see from the User Guide this router doesn't have an actual WPS Button - You need to log onto its admin web interface and browse to the WPS setup page - Press the WPS button on your client device (laptop, printer, etc) then Click the WPS button in the router's web interface and let them talk to each other to establish a secure connection - The WPS light on the Front Panel should then light up when connected - You can find a user guide at the following url:

Hp printer says to press the WPS button on the router. What's that?

  • Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure wireless network set up and connections.
  • WPS lets you use push buttons or PINS instead of entering a network name (SSID) and wireless security by hand.
  • Push button: The WPS button is either on the product or a clickable button on a wizard or utility screen.
  • Personal Identification Number (PIN): The PIN is either on a product label or can be viewed on a wizard or utility screen. The PIN is entered for either the router or access point, or for the wireless device that wants to join the network.

Does my WRT160N have a WPS button and if so, where is it?

The Linksys WRT160N has WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). If you are using WPA-PSK encryption (recommended), then you can easily connect the C4780 to your wireless network using WPS:

1) On the Linksys router, press the WPS button that is top of the case just under the Cisco label. When the LED on the button starts to blink, then the WPS process has started.

Where and what is the PBC button on the wireless linksys router?

Push Button Configuration (PBC)

NOTE: The PBC method is to be used if the wireless client device (device that you are using to connect to the network) has a WPS button (either an actual one or a virtual one).

Step 1:
Click or press the WPS button on the client device.

Step 2:
Click the WPS button on the Linksys device. A pop-up window from the Wireless > Basic Wireless Security tab of the Linksys device will appear. This window will indicate the progress of WPS client configuration.
