Can anyone help me to find a coaxial connector to replace the original one. the center pin broke off and I cant seem to find any replacement for the cable itself with connector or the connector by itself to solder the wires.

Wow ~ I spent some time trying to track this puppy down ~ but had no luck!
IF you have the original supply can you provide ALL of the numbers on it? Or perhaps a photo?
Also, if you can, MEASURE the metal "jack sleeve" and sorry, but you've GOT to provide that measurement in MM ! Examples are 3.5mm and 2.5mm... both very common!
OR, I've saw ONE that looked like a 'phone jack' and another with a white 'molex' or oval connector??
In both cases above the will be VERY exotic and DIFFICULT to find!
>>> "I" would open the phone and SEE where the power connector is? I would get a common/low cost 7.5 volt DC power supply and SOLDER directly to the connector PINS or cut the wires to the connector and solder the power supply wires together... NOTE, the 'center pin' is usually + or POSITIVE! <<<
After several searches I found this on Amazon:
AC - DC ADAPTER 7.5VDC @ 1 AMP 1.3MM DC POWER PLUG + CENTER
About $8
Coaxial cables are all standard for that kind of TV. I'm about 99% sure on that so just go to a electronics shop and buy one and double check with the person at the shop but I'm sure you'll be save just replacing your old one with the same size!!!!
I realize I'm providing a solution to an older problem, and may never hear back from the original poster. I am providing a solution because in the event it may help someone else.
The center pin you state is part of the DC Power Jack. The jack on the laptop, that the plug from the AC adapter (Charger) plugs into.
The center pin is the Positive connection. The outer metal pieces, on the inside of the cylindrical shape surrounding the center pin, make up the Negative connection.
Click on the two views shown of the jack to enlarge. The view on the left, shows how the jack normally sits on the motherboard. Front faces you, and in upright position.
The view on the right shows the jack upside down, and the back faces you. Note the 4 metal tangs which protrude up. Each has a squarish hole in it.
These tangs go through the motherboard, and are soldered to the motherboard. These tangs are Negative connections. They connect to the metal pieces inside the cylindrical shape.
Looking at the Back of the jack, (Right view), you see a metal tang coming out of the center. This tang is the Positive connection. It attaches straight to the Center Pin.
To replace the DC Power Jack, the Eee needs to be completely disassembled down to the motherboard in your hands.
(Observe Anti-Static Precautions. Use an ESD wrist strap. Average cost is around $3 to $6. Connect the alligator clip to a good ground source. { I connect to an unpainted surface, of the metal frame of an open, empty desktop computer case )
The broken DC Power Jack is c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y removed from the motherboard, and after the area is prepped, the new DC Power Jack is soldered into place.
The connector needs to be soldered in two ways. The center connector needs to be soldered to the same point as the original. This may have broke off close to the small circuit board inside the tuner and you hopefully can see the broken piece sticking out. The tuner should ideally be removed to accomplish this. The tuner usually has two shields that snap in place that can be removed. You may be able to solder a short piece of wire to the remainder of the original connector. The outside of the f connector also needs to be soldered to the tuner shielding itself as a ground connection and you will need a soldering gun or higher wattage iron for this step. Use a lower wattage soldering pencil for the signal connection to the tuner board.
Hello sounds like the coaxial connector has come off or broken off the tuner, You can repair this problem using the old connector that broke off by taking out the tuner and resoldering the center pin back to the tuner board (provided the small tuner board is not cracked) and the out side of the connector to the tuner housing for ground. If you are just using or referring to a common coaxial cable to purchase, you can get these from everywhere Radio shack, Fry's etc. Also ur local cable company. If all else fails use the rca output jacks from the cable box if u have one and connect it to video input one on the back of the television, make sure you change you television input to video one if u decide to do it this way.
I have a magnavox plasma 50", when i remove it from the table i forget to unplug the coax cable from the back of the tv so i pull the connector out from it, anyone tell me what can i do to repair or replace this solution?
Part costs about $ 5-10 bucks.....labor to fix it ranges from $ 100 - $250. Problem is caused by jerking or tugging on the power cable too much. All laptops need a Cable Retention Device like the one in this video. . .
