I have the same problem with mine, except it doesn't work even when it IS plugged in! I can still make calls on it. I called my fiance at work one day, it said we were connected, and had been for over 20 seconds. I couldn't hear a thing. I didn't hear it ring, him say hello, I couldn't even hear a buzz of some sort! When he got home he said that he could hear me as plain as day. I was saying "Hello? HELLO HELLO HELLO! Darn phone"I have the same problem with mine, except it doesn't work even when it IS plugged in! I can still make calls on it. I have a similar probleme, when connected it's seem to be using the headphone instead of the speaker and mic! trying to change the volume will tell you if you're phone is stuck in this mode...blowing in the plug seem to disengage this fonction for a short period. I looking for a permanent disable fonction for the headphone now...

You may need a software update to your phone. You will need to call your cell provider and inform them of the problem. A software update will usually clear this up.
The Time on most Cellular Phones is controlled from the Network, so there is no way for the user to manually adjust it. Try turning the phone off for a few seconds, and when it boots back up, the time should be updated. If not, it might take another hour or two, but it will eventually be correct.
Buy a different phone and read reviews on CNET where you would've seen this http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/samsung-sph-a660-sprint/4505-6454_7-30732916.html?tag=mncol;lst
This was a base model when it was put into production and so Sprint never had any intent of investing in things like quality control as some of these phones work perfectly fine and other have tons of problem
I always recomend the insurance to the cel of our sons and now you know why, but go to the celu store they have yonks to fix this problem and is cheaper than buy a new one....good luck
