First what colors are the wires? Usually the 3 positions should be earth, neutral and live. These 3 positions are supposed to be the main power supply into the unit. The 4th cable you are refering to what does it connect? First thing i would like you to do is identify which of the cables represent the 3 positions as stated above. After that then we can try to determine what the last cable is meant to do. Let me know the color and sizes of the cables. Usually the sizes are written on the cable in mm. Hoping to hear from you soon. Hope this support has been helpful? Thank you for visiting FixYa.
strip off an inch on both ends of the wiring you are trying to connect. Connect each wire with the same color. Example if the 9 pin side wire is yellow/blue then the other end needing to be connected will need to be yellow/blue. Twist them together and use a terminal splicer to fastened and protect them from touching each other. Do this until all wires are spliced together color for color.
