We bought new Frigidaire galaxy appliances 14 months ago, including fridge with ice maker. When we returned to condo after a month's absence (with fridge unplugged) we found water on floor. Could not find source of it, so cleaned up an put it back. Fine for one day and then water on floor again. Pan in bottom was dry. Is it possible that in defrost cycle water is not draining in pan?? Any suggestions? What can I do?
Is possible that the plastic tube that leeds in the pan is obstructed or in a wrong position, check if water goes in the pan just put some water trought from the inside hole in the fridge and check if it reach the pan, maybe the inclination of the fridge is not sufficient, ( it has to be inclined to the wall direction so the water slides on the back inside wall of the fridge. can also be poor insulation of the fridge, so the outside surfaces come wet because of the hight air temperature outside and the cold surfaces of the fridge, then the water slides down the floor...make sure about air ventilation around the fridge!...I hope it was useful!

I had the same problem. After 6 months I contacted Frigidaire about it. They made arrangements with a local factory service repairman. Be sure you have your model and S/N available. The repairman came to my home, verified the problem and returned a week later and installed the replacement door dispenser. Problem solved.
Hi!! change your copper line going to the icemaker and also install a water line filter you can buy one at homedepot easy to install and has instructions on how to...good luck..
Check the fill tube for the ice maker and make sure it is in the correct place. This sounds like the fill tube has been moved and is running water into the freezer instead of the ice maker. Let me know what you find. I am here to help you.
You may have a problem with the computer control board in the ice maker. Try this. Turn off the icemaker for about 2 minutes.
Turn on the ice maker and press the clear button. Press and hold this button for 12 seconds to get it to force extract. This will confirm that the motors will work and push the ice cubes out. Afterwards, let it run by itself. If it still doesn't make ice, you will need to replace the icemaker.
If the unit is less than 1 year old call Frigidaire factory service. In the mean time check in the back of the freezer or in air channels for frost build-up. It may indicate a defrost problem or air leak. still best to have factory tech check if in warranty. J
