Though Palm PDAs are considered "legacy" by their new "supporters", HP, there is a download site for your Tungsten. Note that while HP seems to have forgotten that there was an "E", and only mention the E2, the
Palm Support Palm Tungsten E2 Palm Desktop 4 1 4 and HotSync Manager... download should work... providing you are using the right OS on your computer. XP is listed in your owners manual, Vista usually works, Win7 is really dicey unless you bought one of the reconditioned/customized Tungstens that have become available over the internet lately, and win 8 might really become a deal-breaker. I have a Tungsten E2 and I receive a message that my Handheld is only compatible up to Microsot Outlook 2002 and I have Microsot Outlook 2007. Do you have a patch or update for this?

Hello,

there is no patch or update for this. You will have to get Microsoft Outlook 2002 because Microsoft Outlook 2007 cannot work with your Tungsten E2

The Tungsten E2 has been programmed by the manufacturer. It is only when you go for a higher Tungsten Hand-held, that you will be able to use Microsoft Outlook 2007.

Palm will not turn on

have you tried a hard reset?

Todo a hard reset, First press and hold the power button, while holding the power button use the tip of the stylus to gently press and release the reset button. wait for the logo to appear then release the power button.

when you see the message that warns you about erasing all of the info on your hand held press up on the 5way navigator to finish the reset

1. Click on time in upper left hand corner
2. Select info
3. On device drop menu select sd card
4. Lower right corner select more
5. Upper right select card
6. Select FORMAT CARD
If you can't format...the card is toast
