How do i scan multiple pages and sav it to my documents. It seems like i am only able to scan and save one page at a time

Hi

If you have a Top feeder on the scanner, you can scan mutiple pages. Change the setting of the scanned file to pdf file (not JPEG) by going to the scanner icon and change the type of file you want to scan. Scan it as PDF FILE and then it will scan multiple pages. Regards

How to scan using an imac

  • Connect a USB or FireWire scanner to the iMac using the scanner cord and the ports on the back of the iMac. Turn the scanner on.

  • Use the CD or DVD that came with the scanner to install any required software drivers. If the manufacturer's instructions indicate the scanner does not require additional drivers, you can skip this step.
  • Put the object you want to scan face-down on the bed of the scanner.
  • Scan the object by pressing the "Scan" button on the scanner. Image Capture will launch automatically and display a low-resolution preview scan.
  • Set up the scan using Image Capture. The settings available will vary depending on the scanner you are using. With most scanners, you can select a specific area of the object to scan, choose a scan profile based on the type of object you are scanning, adjust the color options and set the resolution.
  • Click the "Scan" or "Scan to Folder" button to scan the object. The image will save to the "Pictures" of your home directory if you press "Scan." The image will save to whatever folder you specify if you press "Scan to Folder."

I WANT TO USE THE SCANNER BUT, I DON'T NOW HOW, It go to the printer all the time, could you please help me ? I have the EPSOM STYLUS BX300F PROFESSIONAL, PRINTER,SCANNER,FAX,PHOTOCOPIER.

Basically, you can use the scanner in two ways. Please open the scanner cover and place the document or image you want to scan face down.

    1. Press the SCAN button (color button = color scanning, black button = monochrome scanning). then your scanner will scan the document or image in the scanner tray.

    2. Go to the scanner program installed in your computer when you installed the printer. Open it and then click the command button SCAN.

Note: Make sure that you installed the Scanner software when you installed the printer. Without the software, your scanner will not work. Please reinstall the printer including the scanner software.

Can i share scanner across multiple computers?

Some network scanners have the ability to scan to PC's. I have the Brother MFC-465CN all-in-one ethernet network printer. This scanner lets me press scan and decide which PC to send the scanned image to.

If it is a USB scanner then I don't think this is possible.

    Scanner Canon 5010c

This is a known problem with the scanner. Use PixEdit to scan which comes around this problem so the scanning terminates OK after the ADF goes empty.
