It won't get out of this position

Everytime I turn on the prodect an hour glass appears on the screen and I can't get it out of the position. So I thought maybe if I let the battery die and connect it to the computer again it would work but it didn't it just stayed like that. Any idea how to maybe restart it?

    I have the same problem and it's a new MP4 player. Does anyone know how to contact Delstar? They aren't returning e-mails or phone calls and their website is no longer there.

If there is anyway to unplug the battery inside and plugging it back in then trying that might help.

If that doesn't help if warranty still stands take it back and explain the fault to them.

BSOD's can be caused by ....well, lots of things...Drivers, hardware incompatibility, operating system, etc. Also diagnosing the cause would require above average knowledge.

I would suggest upgrading all your hardware drivers to latest releases. If not fixed, a clean re-install of Windows should fix it. (remember to back up your data)

Try using your system recovery function. Tap f10 whilst pc is bootin up until 'system recovery' appears on screen then follow on screen instructions.

Is it detected in itunes? You're supposed to press menu & ok button only after the following steps- 1.turn off your ipod if its on. 2.slide the hold button on and off a couple of times and then when hold is in off position,press and hold centre and menu buttons till a silver apple appears on screen.then connect to itunes and restore.

Power Up Hour Glass appears an stays on for 3 hours
This should help. When the hourglass symbol stays on, press and hold down the start button for at least 15 seconds. The screen should clear and then you can navigate back to the correct opening screen and select music, videos, photos etc. as you require.
