First replace the TCON/HFR Board if the 5X protection mode blink pattern occurs. If the TCON/HFR Board does not repair the problem then replace the A-Board.
thats a switching regulator its almost impossible to get full schematics for an LG LCD tv since the manufacturers dont provide them as the repairs are board replacement and no longer component based repairs. Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

The problem you have is with the G1 board. The 17 volts is not supplied. Do you have a multimeter and know how to trouble shott following a service manual schematic? if not call a pro to assist you as this could be the G1 board, but to be sure, you will need to troubleshoot and check some voltages and follow circuit flow using a schematic diagram.
