I have a Coleman Model #2960E666 forced air propane furnace. I don't know how old of a model this is, but it was installed in 1992. I am trying to replace the hot surface ignitor but I can't figure out how to get to it to replace it. Do I need to remove the blower motor in order to get to it from the bottom? I can see it when I shine a flashlight through the opening where the gas control is located. However, it is way back in there. I can unplug the electric plug to it here, but there is no way I can get a wrench on the nut that is holding it on.

SOURCE: Coleman forced air furnace blower

Rmove the two screws holding the blower in place and slide it out. With the power off, rotate the wheel and inspect for debris or an impingement. If everything turns easy, you have a bad motor or start capacitor. If you have rubbing, adjust the wheel. If the motor will not turn, replace it.

I JUST BOUGHT A USED COLEMAN EVCON FURNACE MODEL #BGU09516 AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO VENT IT. PLEASE HELP, THANKS

It should have a two part chimmney with a 4 inch inner exhaust section and a larger 6 inch outer section that goes over the flange on the top of the furnace. If your existing chimmney does not have this you may have to buy a chimmney kit for a mobile home application.
