Air conditioner seems to have a programming short

I blew a fuse this morning in the outlet my Danby Portable AC unit is located in (DPAC12030) and since then it's been beeping with all kinds of "programming demons". I cannot power off with the front panel and my remote doesn't seem to work. It just goes from farenheit to celcius, up in temp, down in temp, etc. with no sign of stopping. How can I reset this unit to stop the madness??!!
