I blew a fuse this morning in the outlet my Danby Portable AC unit is located in (DPAC12030) and since then it's been beeping with all kinds of "programming demons". I cannot power off with the front panel and my remote doesn't seem to work. It just goes from farenheit to celcius, up in temp, down in temp, etc. with no sign of stopping.
How can I reset this unit to stop the madness??!!

Regarding the AC , it does not come out or the air is present but does not become cold? These are details you should post because experts need a clear picture of it before any solution.

Here is a link to a 12,000 BTU, Danby Portable AC Unit. Since you failed to mention the model number of the unit you have, I can only guess that is the same as yours. In any event, all Danby Portable AC units work the same. You can download and print this manual for future reference.
sounds like very low on freon which also keeps the motor running cooler...suggest a refill because of its large btu capacity, but expensive maybe...get quotes.
