Question about Sharp UX P100 Plain Paper Thermal transfer Fax
Hi! On the message bar there is " DOCUMENT JAMMED" blinking, but there is no paper loaded in the machine. When a call comes in (I have the same phone number for home phone and fax machine)it rings but there is no sound on the handset. And there is no dial tone either. I've opened the machine and didn't see any paper jammed anywhere. I seemed to recall, not really sure that, at one occasion, while sending a fax, the paper stuck, and I pulled the paper out from the bottom. Could this be the reason or could this move damaged the machine? And is there any solution? Thanks for any advice or help!
There are a few sensors in the paper path which can easilt dislodged when pulling paper to rapidly from unit. Check all sensor flags and make sure they are moving freely.

Hi,
I've opened the machine and there is definitely no paper, or piece of paper jammed. Also I can't see any sensors that might be damaged or dislodged.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
paper scrunched up in it jamming it pulled out a piece, it tore , rest is stuck.
Fax machine will stop feeding itself like as if it stops rolling. I have to gently pull on the paper for it to continue sending the fax
