If you only have half of the screen first thing you need to do is go to BIOS page by pressing F2 during start-up once you see the BIG Dell logo. F2 let's you enter the BIOS if you can still see only half of the screen then that is indeed a hardware failure meaning you need to replace the LCD only otherwise go to safe mode if you can see everything here normally except for everything here is BIG then that means you just have a software issue and you need to uninstall the driver for the video card and then restart the system. After restart reinstall the driver for the video card and then restart again by this time you should have a normal screen and issue is fix. Reply if everything goes as plan aiyt.
