The power supply is normal giving out 24.5 V. Anyway to open up the monitor?

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSER.GET THE CODES READ TO CONFIRM. AS FOR THE VALVE NOISE,YOU MAY HAVE A STICKY LIFTER,TRY SWITCHING TO A THINNER OIL OR MAYBE TRY SYNTHETIC.
turn hard switch off in the back of the unit. Then put your finger on the soft switch on the front of the unit. While keeping your finger on the soft button in front, switch the hard button in the back to the on position and keep finger on the soft button for 10 secs, this will reset your vid settings.
Pull the wand out of the Vac. Need to use a small Torx bit to take out 2 screws hidden behind the wand storage. Once screws are out, there are 4 push-clips which need to be un-latched. Pry the power panel off and you will expose the two switches (one for power, one for the brushes). Push the power switch down and it should "release" and go back to clicking when pushed. Re-assemble. Took about 5 minutes to fix.
