Take Me Too double stroller

We just purchased the stroller and got it assembled, then went to the mall, only to discover the front left wheel is bent and wobbly. It does not make the whole stroller wobble, but I didn't pay $150 to have a wobbly wheel. I've unfortunetly misplaced the owners manuel but still have my reciept. Is it possible to get a replacement wheel at no cost to me? Your response will be much appreciated. Thank-you Amanda Smith model#1741668A date manufactored 5/5/06

You just need to tighten the screws on the wheel housing around the nob that locks the wheel. This loosens up over time but I've had my stroller 4 years and have only tightened it 2 x's.

SOURCE: problem with front wheel of jane 3-wheeler stroller

The front wheel swivel has become a problem with some strollers that are a little longer than the standard three wheel stroller. This has been happening with the new Phil & Ted's Vibe as well.

This can be approached in a few different ways. The easiest is to take the wheel off completely and properly lube the connection pieces. You can use a standard axle grease, or WD40 if you have some in your home. When the tire is properly lubed, re-attach it. This should take care of the problem.

If that does not work, the wheel's inner tube might be/have been over-inflated. When this occurrs, a part of the tube bubbles and causes the wheel to wobble while being pushed. Deflate the tire slightly and see if this helps. If the tube has been over-inflated for some time, it may be necessairy to completely replace the tube - you can do this at most bike shops that sell replacement tubes.

If this does not stop the tire from wobbling, please feel free to contact us anytime.

SOURCE: Need a replacement rear wheel for evenflo take me

Mine too. They don't have very good back wheels. However, I looked into getting a new one when they were still selling them on their site, and they were outrageously expensive. So we've just lived with a bum wheel for the past 3 years. Maybe that makes you feel better!
